Five Members Recognized at Annual Lunch in 2016 with Awards of Merit

Five BASF members were honored with Awards of Merit for their dedication to the organization in 2016.

Buck Endemann, Paul Hastings; Carolyn Lee, Morgan, Lewis & Bockius; Matt Gluck, Gluck Daniel; Jill McInerney, Sefton Family Law Group, and Andrea Goodman, Law Office of Andrea Goodman were each recognized at the Annual Membership Luncheon in December.

The Justice & Diversity Center’s (JDC) Homeless Advocacy Project approached Buck Endemann for pro bono help answering questions about easement rights to their property from a neighboring low-income housing development. His service turned into a multiweek, full-fledged negotiation, resulting in securing a renegotiated easement.

BASF’s Solo and Small Firm Section was resurrected and thrived under the leadership of Cochairs Matt Gluck and Carolyn Lee. Additionally, they worked to build robust solo/small firm sponsorship of the annual JDC Gala.

Longtime members of BASF’s Lawyer Referral and Information Service’s Court Dependency Panel, Jill McInerney and Andrea Goodman are well respected leaders and tireless advocates for due process, quality legal representation, and full funding statewide for court-appointed counsel for indigent parents and children served by Dependency Courts.

Photos from the Annual Luncheon will be included in the February BASF Bulletin and are currently online on BASF’s Facebook page at facebook.com/sfbar.
