Queen’s Bench Bar Announces 2016 Board of Directors
The Queen’s Bench Bar Association recently announced its 2016 board. The following BASF members were announced as officers: President – Pauline Farmer-Koppenol, Bio-Rad Laboratories; First Vice President Anne Gyemant Paris, Gyemant Paris Law; Second Vice President Holly Schaitberger, Hersh FamilyLaw Practice; and Asst. Secretary/Treasurer Laura Vocke, Schoenberg Family Law Group.
The following BASF members were also announced as directors: Carol Salvagione, Hedani, Choy, Spalding & Salvagione; Clarissa Kang, Trucker Huss; and Immediate Past President – Jaime Touchstone, Futterman Dupree Dodd Croley Maier.
The Recorder Recognizes Top Legal Innovators
The Recorder recently recognized firms and individuals as top legal innovators. The following is a list of the member and Leader Circle firms that were included: Scott Rechtschaffen of Littler Mendelson was recognized in the Serial Innovator category.

The Daily Journal Announces Top Boutique Firms
BASF Leader Circle firm Rosen, Bien Galvan & Grunfeld was recently honored by the Daily Journal as a Top 25 Boutique Firm. Michael Bien is the managing partner of the firm.
James Bruen Named President-Elect of the American College of Environmental Lawyers
Farella Braun + Martel Partner James A. Bruen has been named president-elect of the American College of Environmental Lawyers (ACOEL). Bruen has been a fellow with the ACOEL since 2008 as part of its inaugural class.
As president-elect, Bruen will continue to serve as a member of the College’s Executive Committee, plan the College’s 2016 annual meeting in New Orleans, and remain involved in the leadership of the College’s international pro bono program. Bruen will begin his one-year term as president in October 2016.
