Craft Beer and CLE at Black Hammer Brewing on October 15

The Barristers Club will host a Brewery Law Basics CLE on October 15. Not only will it feature top rate panelist in the industry, but the CLE will also take place at a brand new up and coming brewery in San Francisco – Black Hammer Brewing.

Speakers include Jim Furman, CEO & Founder, Black Hammer Brewing, Eugene Pak, Partner at Wendel Rosen Black & Dean, and Craig Rashkis, Partner at Farwell Rashkis. Here are the top three reasons you should attend:

  1. Gain insight on counseling brewers and brewery owners by learning about their unique legal needs and industry trends directly from a brewer and brewery owner (Jim Furman).
  1. Learn practical negotiation skills relating to contracts for brewery equipment, ingredients, and distribution of beers.
  2. Hurdles to be aware of when trademarking new breweries and beers.

Yes, beer will be available for purchase before and after the program! We have a private space following the program to network and mingle with speakers and attendees. This wonderful and creative event was planned by Barristers Sports and Entertainment Section Vice-Chair, Sophia Van Valen.
