Walk, Run or Pedal Your Way to Raise Funds for Underserved on June 6

Join us on Saturday, June 6 at Crissy Field for the 8th annual Bike-a-Thon/Walk-a-Thon for the Justice & Diversity Center (JDC) of The Bar Association of San Francisco.

Cyclists and walkers will raise funds to support JDC’s legal services programs, ensuring its clients have legal representation, regardless of their financial circumstances. There will be a choice of easy and challenging routes, and families are encouraged to participate.

This two-hour event also raises awareness of JDC’s free legal programs, aiding the homeless and low-income residents of San Francisco, and the opportunity for the legal community to get involved with JDC.

Everyone is welcome – from attorneys and judges to supporters and friends.

Last year, the event generated $19,000. For every dollar donated, JDC delivers $5 worth of services to its clients. In partnership with more than 1,900 volunteers and attorneys, JDC will provide legal assistance to over 9,000 clients in 2015.
