Annual Golf Tournament Raises More Than $45K for Educational Programs

On Friday, October 4, 136 attorneys attended the 5th annual Putting for the Pipeline Charity Golf Tournament at TPC Harding Park.

The attorneys represented law firms and corporate offices from San Francisco to Menlo Park. The annual event raises funds to sustain the diversity activities of The Bar Association of San Francisco and educational programs of its Justice & Diversity Center. The programs provide counseling, career opportunities and scholarships for students ranging from high school to law school. The event raised more than $45,000.


Tournament winners were a foursome made up of Commissioner Everett Hewlett (Ret.), ADR Services; Suk Lee, Electronic Arts; Danny Williams, Hagen, Streiff, Newton & Oshiro, Accountants PC and Jessica Jacobs, Secure Talent.

Longest Drive winner for the men was Spencer Pahlke, Walkup Melodia Kelly & Schoenberger. Longest Drive winner for the woman was Jean Hurricane of Schiff Hardin.

Closest to the Pin winner for men was Suk Lee, Electronic Arts. The Closest to the Pin winner for women was Gina Chang of Tibco Software.

Longest Putt winner was California Supreme Court Associate Justice Ming Chin.
